Catering enquiries arrive as “about 60 people, a few vegetarians, sometime in November”.

Turning that into a menu, servings, staffing and a price takes a chef’s evening, and every guest-count change means starting again.

SEVN Table structures the event, proposes a menu only from the approved catalogue, calculates servings and an itemised total deterministically, flags dietary questions for review and drafts a preparation run sheet.

What this build does,
and what it doesn’t.

Real in this build

  • Guest-count changes recalculate servings, staffing and an itemised total deterministically.
  • Menus are built only from catalogue IDs; previous approved versions are kept.
  • Unverified allergy suitability stays explicitly awaiting review.

Simulated or saved

  • Menu proposals and proposal wording are saved examples generated offline.
  • Deposits and reservations are simulated in the demo outbox.

Limits

  • No automatic allergy-safety assurance.
  • Production cost cards, capacity and staffing rules must be business-owned data.

Use it,
don’t just read it.

The demo workspace runs on fictional data with simulated external actions. No login. It resets to its sample baseline daily at 03:00 Sydney time.
