Questions, answered straight
Booking, prices, emergencies, coverage, and what’s real about this concept site.
Booking & arrival
How do I book?
Tell us what’s going on: through the assistant on this site, by text, email or a call to 02 0000 0000. We turn your message into a job card, check it, and text you an arrival window.
Do I need to know which trade I need?
No. Describe the problem and we’ll work it out. Some jobs need two trades (a leaking air-con, for example) and we’ll schedule both in one visit where we can.
What’s an arrival window?
A two-hour window when the tradesperson will arrive, sent by text. You also get a heads-up when they’re on the way.
Can I book for a rental or for a family member?
Yes. Tell us who will be at the property and how we can get access. Property managers often ask for a quote first, so just say so.
Prices & payment
How much is a call-out?
We confirm the call-out fee when we book, before anyone is on the road. This concept site doesn’t list prices.
Will I know the price before you start?
Yes. We diagnose first, then give you the price. Work starts only once you approve it, and if something changes mid-job, we stop and ask.
Can I get a quote without a visit?
For straightforward jobs like a new split system or extra power points, often yes. Send photos and we’ll come back with a written quote. Some jobs need a quick measure-up first.
Emergencies
What counts as an emergency?
Burst pipes, flooding, sewage inside, no power to the house, sparks or a burning smell, and air-con failures in a heatwave when someone vulnerable is at home.
Do you come out after hours?
Yes, for emergencies, by phone on 02 0000 0000. A tradesperson calls you back with an arrival time.
I can smell gas. What do I do?
Leave the house, don’t use switches or flames, and call your gas distributor’s emergency line, or 000 if anyone is in danger. Then call us for the repair.
Coverage
Which suburbs do you cover?
Twenty-two suburbs across Penrith, the Nepean and the Lower Blue Mountains, out to Faulconbridge. See the map.
What if I’m just outside the area?
We’ll tell you in the first reply rather than keep you waiting. It’s better for you to get someone closer.
About this concept site
Is Cobalt Home Services real?
No. Cobalt is a fictional business created by SEVNworks to demonstrate SEVN Flow, a workflow that turns customer interactions into reviewed business actions.
What happens to what I type into the assistant?
It stays in your browser. The assistant uses deterministic keyword rules to build a job summary; the confirmation is simulated and nothing is sent to anyone. If you open the Flow workspace demo in the same browser, your enquiry appears in its inbox so you can see the business side.
Are the phone number and email real?
No. 02 0000 0000 and hello@example.com are placeholders.
